Last weekend the youth group had the reponsibility for the whole youth meeting, which was great! They are normally participating in different ways and especially with worship, but this time they were both leading the meeting, preaching, doing worship, competitions, doing the planning etc. So encouraging to see how they are going for God. Here you can see some pictures from the youth group!
In one and a half week, 2 - 5th of October we will go to London with the confirmation group - so we are really looking forward to that. Otherwise we are together every Tuesday, meaning tomorrow is a new evening in Hønefoss!
 
This weekend it was a New Generation Festival in Oslo, Ekeberghallen! Some hundreds youth came... New Generation wants to share Jesus in the schools. It has started up groups in hundreds of school all over Europe. It was great! (Also cool since I was apart of starting a group in my High School some years back.) Jesus Revolution was helping with the Festival, and I was helping with filming again:

The Jesus Festival was good, a couple of hundred attended! Together with two guys I had the responsibility for filming during the festival, screen productions, and recording of teachings. We were a team of nine and some more helpers. It was cool to be able to work with media again! After the Jesus Festival we had a lot of preparation time for a new year, both with Jesus Revolution and youth group. Fall is around the corner and a new «school» year has started! Two weeks ago we had a group of new interns joining Jesus Revolution. It is really an amazing international group, coming from different countries! It has been great getting to know them. I will continue with my same responsibility as the last couple of years, being responsible for the teams who will be trained and travel. They are also attending a Bible School, and then now we have started with creative training in dance, drama, singing and more things will take place. I am working with a great group of instructors and this year again we will have three teams/groups who will travel. Youth group: The youth in Hønefoss are great and different things are taking place! I also have the responsibility for a new thing there now. In Norway we have confirmation, Its a traditional program teenagers attends every week for a whole year, they can choose to do it in a church or not. This is normal for both Christians or not. So it is so great we can have it within our church as well, this is the third year, and we are excited. Last year it was 10 teenagers, now it is 5 and I am excited. We will meet up every week and we will also go on some trips together. I will try do post different updates during the fall...

| The last month I have been busy with finishing School, next to the other things I am doing I have taken a practical school year where I have studied Youth Ministry. In the beginning of June I had an oral exam about Youth Ministry, and a written exam in Doctrines. Within there I have studied how to reach out to youth, how are youth thinking and how to build relationships with them. It has been interesting! But I must say I`m happy to be finished with exams, it`s been a lot of preparations. This coming Saturday we will have Summer party with my youth group. I almost can`t believe that I have been a Youth Leader in Hønefoss for 15 months already. Eleven of those months an another girl, Anne Ragnhild and me have been Youth Leaders together, which have been great! She wont be there as much the coming year, so it means it might be a bit more for me to do. Luckily I`m standing together with a great team there. I am excited about what is to come! Exciting things are happening among the youth lately, and many of them are really experiencing Jesus. In July we will not have so much happening, but from August again it will be full blast. 5 - 9th of August we will have festival in Oslo, The Jesus Festival! http://www.jesuschurch.no/jesusfestival/?lang=en Jesus Revolution is arranging it together with Jesus Church and more people.
